See what screening software
actually reads

Upload your resume and we'll run the same kind of text extraction an applicant tracking system runs — then show you, line by line, what it could and couldn't find.

You can't “pass” an ATS, and anyone who says otherwise is selling something

An applicant tracking system isn't a test with a passing grade. It's software an employer uses to sort their own pile, configured with their own filters — and one company can run several different screens for a single job. The same resume can clear one and not another.

So nobody can honestly promise you'll get through. What can be checked is far more useful, and it splits in two:

Can it be read

Whether a parser can actually extract your name, contact details, employers, titles and dates. This is mechanical and objective — it either works or it doesn't, and it's what this tool checks.

Does it match

How closely your background lines up with a specific posting. That's a judgment, not a measurement, so we describe it in plain language against a real job — never as a number.

What actually stops software reading a resume

  • report

    Multi-column layouts

Text that looks like two neat columns to you is often read straight across by a parser, interleaving your job titles with your skills.

  • report

    Tables

A resume laid out in a table can come out scrambled, or not at all. The layout looks tidy and parses badly.

  • report

    Contact details in the header

Word headers and footers are frequently skipped entirely. Your phone number can be right there on the page and completely invisible.

  • report

    Text inside images

A logo, a graphic skills chart, or a scanned page contains no text at all as far as the software is concerned.

  • report

    Inconsistent dates

Mixing "2021-2023", "Mar 21" and "Spring 2022" is how systems miscalculate how long you've worked.

  • report

    Creative section headings

"Where I've Been" instead of "Professional Experience" can land your entire work history in the wrong bucket.
